Quick First Aid Guide

Heart Attack

Symptoms: Chest pain, shortness of breath, nausea

Action: Call 911 immediately. Have person sit down and rest. Give aspirin if available.

Stroke

Symptoms: Face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty

Action: Call 911 immediately. Note the time symptoms started. Do not give food or drink.

Severe Bleeding

Symptoms: Uncontrolled bleeding from wound

Action: Apply direct pressure with clean cloth. Elevate wound above heart if possible.
